PSM won special awards & gold medal in MTE 2021: The 2nd COVID-19 International Innovation Awards

Centre for Mathematical Sciences would like to congratulate Dr Norazaliza binti Mohd Jamil for her superior performance in MTE 2021: The 2nd Covid-19 International Innovation Awards on 17 June 2021. In this glorious event, the innovation entitled “A GUI Simulation Tool for Pandemic Outbreaks” has won the gold medal as well as named as the recipient for the Malaysian Association of Creativity & Innovation Special Award.
These awards are created to acknowledge and celebrates the innovations in response to COVID-19. The innovations from the existing and new, across various categories can be instrumental in the response and recovery efforts globally.
The Malaysia Technology Expo (MTE) started off as a platform for innovators to showcase their findings since 2001. This annual expo has grown to become one of the region’s most recognised and respected international innovation exhibitions, each year connecting participants with industry players.
