Ku Muhammad Na’im Ku Khalif is currently a senior lecturer in Centre for Mathematical Sciences, Universiti Malaysia Pahang, Malaysia. He received a PhD in Computational Intelligence from University of Portsmouth, United Kingdom. His research interests are in the development of computational intelligence methods focusing on decision making support systems and the applications for modelling and simulation of complex systems under fuzzy/ uncertain environment. He is also interested in data mining and machine learning through probabilistic models. He focuses on both the algorithmic side of these models and their applications. His recent focus has been on the deployment of machine learning technology in practice, particularly under the banner of data science.

He has been involved in PhD supervision and examination. Likewise, he has been investigator/co-investigator on research projects funded by university grants and Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS). He has been appointed as a Reviewer for several journals and conferences, including Journal: Atlantis Press - International Journal of Computational Intelligence Systems, IOS Press - Journal of Intelligent and Fuzzy Systems, IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems and PLOS ONE, Conference: Fuzzy Systems and Data Mining (FSDM), Soft Computing and Machine Learning (SCML), Mathematics, Statistics and Computing Technology (ICMSCT2019), Applied & Industrial Mathematics and Statistics (ICoAIMS), Simposium Kebangsaan Sains Matematik (SKSM) and Innovation And Analytics Conference & Exhibition (IACE).
