1-Day Consultancy and Training on Excel for Data-Driven Decision

UMP Paya Besar, 7 Jan. 2023 – The Centre for Mathematical Sciences has successfully organised a 1-day consultancy and training on Excel for Data-Driven Decision for the staff of Najeehah International Sdn. Bhd. at Wisma Najeehah, Kota Bharu, Kelantan. It is one of the in-house training organised to improve staff competency in data management and data analysis. The program was delivered by Associate Professor Dr. Roslinazairimah Zakaria and Dr. Siti Roslindar Yaziz.

There were 12 participants involved in this program who are the staff from the Sales & Marketing and Warehouse Operation departments. The contents of the Excel training were designed and customised to the need and requirements of Najeehah’s company. The participants were involved actively in the training which promotes hands-on activities and the participants analysed their company data using Excel.

During the training, the participants were introduced to the basic usage of Excel including data formatting, shortcuts, basic functions and formulae which were used to analyse data numerically and graphically. The training received overwhelming involvement and engagement from the participants and good support from the Chief Executive Officer (Mrs. Rosliza Yaziz) and Chief Operating Officer (Mr. Mohd Aizul Che Ujan) of the company, as well.
