Dean List Award Ceremony for 2020/2021 Session

The Dean List Award Ceremony for Semester I & II 2020/2021 was held on Friday, 22nd October 2021 from 8.30 to 10PM. The ceremony was organised by the Academic Advisor Committee of the Centre for Mathematical Sciences to celebrate the students who achieved GPA 3.50 and above for Semester I & II, 2020/2021 as well as to announce the Head of Program’s Special Award which is the Academic Ranking Improvement Award. The ceremony was officiated by the Vice Dean for Academic & Student Affairs, Associate Prof. Dr. Mohd Sham Mohamad.
Since this year’s ceremony took place virtually on Microsoft Team, the attendees include the highest management of the Centre for Mathematical Sciences, lecturers and students of Data Analytics as well as parents who were able to witness their children’s achievements at the comfort of their own homes.
For 2020/2021 session, 30 students are listed for the Dean List Award for Semester I, while 28 students received the award for Semester II. The Academic Ranking Improvement Award was announced by the Data Analytics Head of Program, Dr Siti Zanariah Satari and the recipients are Muhammad Saiful Aiman Ahmad Sobudin and Aiman Fithri bin Tharmizi, second and first year students of Data Analytics Programme, respectively.
The ceremony ended with a video presentation by the third-year students which theme is “The Challenge of Long Distance Learning During Covid19 Pandemic”.
