Faculty Briefing Session for MINDS 2021

In conjunction with the Student Induction Week 2021 (MINDS 2021), a briefing session with the faculty members was held for the 2021/2022 intake students of Bachelor of Applied Science in Data Analytics with Honours (2u2i Mode) on 6 October 2021. The session that starts from 11 am to 5 pm was organised by the Academic Advisor Committee of PSM.
The attendees of the session include the Senior Dean of College of Computing and Applied Sciences, Professor Ts. Dr. Ruzaini Abdullah Arshah, Dean of Centre of Mathematical Sciences, Prof Dr Mohd Zuki Salleh, deputy deans, head of programmes, lecturers, staffs of the Centre for Mathematical Sciences, 5 senior students and 49 newly registered students of the Data Analytics Program.
The purposes of the session are to introduce the Centre of Mathematical Sciences to the new students, to give them detail explanation about the programme, share with them information on the academic rules and guidelines at UMP as well as introducing the student club, Mathelites.
The briefing session ended with an online quiz, sharing session from the senior students of Data Analytics Programme and parallel session with academic advisors. We hope that the session has benefitted the students and the content will serve as a guideline for the students in their studies.
