Industrial Talk “Data Warehouse Practice on Cloud and on Premise”

Centre for Mathematical Sciences (CMS) UMP has organised the Data Analytic Industrial Talk on 16th June 2023 through Microsoft Team Online Platform. This industrial talk program was held in conjunction with a session with an industrial lecturer for Data Warehousing and Data Wrangling courses.
Titled as Data warehouse practice on cloud and on premise, Mr Mohd Azri Rosli, Head of Data Acquisition Warehousing and Integration at Rapid Bus Sdn Bhd have 14 years of total work experiences as a data science and business analyst.
In this valuable session, Mr Azri started his talk by sharing on the concept of big data, data warehouse and how data integration is done. He then shared data pipeline for general use and Rapid Bus use case. Other than that, Mr Azri also shared with the audience regarding his journey from business analyst in AXA Affin until became a head of data acquisition warehousing and integration in one year. There were lots of good questions came from audience during the Q&A session. The speaker ended the session with some good advice for students in keeping up with technologies that keep evolving especially involving data warehousing tools.
