Centre for Mathematical Sciences (CMS) UMP has organised the Industrial Talk Master of Science (Industrial Mathematics) on 24th September 2021 entitled “Preparation Before Entering the Workforce and Tips on How to Build Up Good Career”.
 
Speaker of this sharing session is Mr. Mohammad Syukur Md Noh. He has 11 years of experience in medical devices industry. Now, he is a Director-Production at Bbraun Medical Industries Sdn Bhd in Penang, Malaysia. Besides his excellence in academics, he is active in sports, teaching Al-Quran and has been invited as motivator to MARA Junior Science College students. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Mechanical Engineering at Universiti Malaysia Pahang.

In this session, the importance of Mathematics in Industry 4.0 revolution has been highlighted and discussed. Through this session, participants are exposed to the preparation before entering workforce especially for those who interested to be an industry practitioner and tips on how to build up good career.

Participants are not limited to CMS staff and students, but also delegates from other faculties. Industrial sharing knowledge is a part of the Master of Science (Industrial Mathematics) program where the students can gain direct exposure from industrial expert regarding the application of Mathematics in industry. This is the precious moment where the participants can interact with the expert and digging knowledge regarding mathematics in industries.
