Monthly Mathematical Colloquium (MMC) 3, 2021

The 3rd Monthly Mathematical Colloquium 2021 has been held through the Google Meet platform on Friday, 26th March 2021. This event exclusively organized by Applied & Industrial Mathematics and Statistics (AIMs) Research Cluster, Centre for Mathematical Sciences (CMS).

Two speakers have been invited for this session: Dr Sahimel Azwal Sulaiman and Ms Siti Nabihah Othman, a Master by Research student, supervised by Dr Norazaliza Mohd Jamil.

Dr Sahimel share his research entitled "RSA Digital Signature Authentication and Verification Using Cryptographic Keys Generator Based on the Compatible Actions of Cyclic p-Groups". The study creates the RSA digital signature by using the private key and verify the RSA digital signature using the public key.

Meanwhile, Ms Siti Nabihah presented her study entitled "A Modified Predictive Model for Colour Changes of French Fries during Frying". These heat and mass transfer phenomena modelled and  formulated by first-order kinetic equation and then solved by using the Runge-Kutta-Fehlberg (RKF45) in MATLAB software.

We at CMS wished all the best to our presenters in their research. Until the next MMC, stay safe and avoid 3C’s – Crowded places, Confined places and Close contact.
