Monthly Mathematical Colloquium (MMC) 7, 2022
On the 25th of November 2022, Pusat Sains Matematik (PSM) has been successfully organised the 7th Monthly Mathematical Colloquium (MMC), which is the last session of MMC for the Year 2022. In this last session, two postgraduate students under the supervision of Associate Professor Dr. Norhayati Binti Rosli (Deputy Dean of Research & Postgraduate Study) have been invited to share their research works. In particular, this colloquium started with knowledge sharing from a postgraduate student, named Muhammad Fahmi Bin Ahmad Zuber with the title The Estimation of the Epidemiological Parameter of the COVID-19 Outbreak in ASEAN Countries.
This colloquium session continued with knowledge sharing from the second postgraduate student, named Mohd Khairul Hafiz Bin Khairuldin. He currently working at BASF Petronas Chemicals Sdn. Bhd, while pursuing his postgraduate study in PSM. In addition, he desired to share his research with the title application of Risk-Based Inspection Using API 581 Methodology to a Pressure Vessel in Petrochemical Plant.
As the closing of the last session of MMC for the Year 2022, a photo shot has been taken of all lecturers and postgraduate students who participated in MMC7/2022. Hereby, PSM would like to take an opportunity to appreciate the knowledge sharing from Muhammad Fahmi Bin Ahmad Zuber and Mohd Khairul Hafiz Bin Khairuldin. Furthermore, PSM wishes all audiences able to gain fruitful knowledge in modelling & simulation via this colloquium.
