Happy Malaysia Day 2021 from PSM UMP

Malaysia Day which falls on September 16 is an annual celebration to commemorate the formation of Malaysia Federation. This special day embraces the multiracialism that is a unique trait of our country, Malaysia. The theme of Malaysia Day 2021 , “Malaysia Prihatin” is to acknowledge all Malaysians who have stood together to overcome the challenges amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

The members of Centre for Mathematical Sciences (PSM) UMP would like to congratulate the new management team at PSM UMP for their appointment starting from 20 August 2021 to 19 August 2023. The new line-up includes:

We are delighted to announce that Associate Professor Dr Abdul Rahman Mohd Kasim has been appointed as the committee member of the Malaysian Mathematical Sciences Society for 2021/2022 and 2022/2023 session.

Four researchers at PSM secured FRGS 2021

The official result of the list of research proposals that have successfully secured the Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS) for Phase 1 2021 has been announced on 6 September 2021. The FRGS Phase 1/2021 application was opened from 18 January 2021 and all applications had to go through several phases of evaluation as regulated by the Ministry of Higher Education.
