A COLLABORATION DISCUSSION WITH DEPARTMENT OF STATISTICS MALAYSIA (DOSM), PAHANG REGARDING MY CENSUS 2020

On 11 August 2020, DOSM was represented by Tuan Zainol bin Jamil (Director), Tuan Syed Samshiee bin Syed Abdul Kadar (Assistant Director), Encik Hazimin bin Arifin, Puan Erlina binti Mat Atan and Encik Mohd Zambri Kechik. Meanwhile, PSM was represented by the Dean of PSM, Prof Dr Mohd Zuki Salleh, Deputy Dean of Research & Graduate Studies, Heads of Programs and several lecturers.
The main objective of the My Census 2020 conducted is to obtain a comprehensive and detailed data and housing profile of the population to the smallest geographical level at a time as a benchmark for the latest demographic and socio-economic characteristics of the population.
PSM as a representative from UMP cooperates in making the My Census 2020 a success which will be able to help the government in produce planning and monitoring policies that can be used to measure the development of socio-economic capabilities of Malaysia, especially the Pahang State prosperity plan.
