One Day Hands-On Workshop on Design of Experiment (DOE) using Design Expert

The Centre for Mathematical Sciences has successfully organised a One Day Hands-On Workshop on Design of Experiment (DOE) using Design Expert for the staff and researcher of Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute (MARDI) Serdang, Selangor on 16 January 2023. The workshop was delivered by Dr. Noratikah Abu and Dr. Wan Nur Syahidah Wan Yusoff.
The workshop begins with the fundamental principle in DOE followed by several DOE design such as one-factor design, factorial design, Plackett-Burmann design and response surface methodology. 12 participants from Program Makanan dan Nutrisi, Pusat Penyelidikan Sains Ternakan, MARDI involved in this workshop. The participants were involved actively in the training which promotes hands-on activities using Design Expert software, and the participants are given the opportunity to analysed their own data.
