Webinar on Resume Writing and Interview Tips for Third Year BSD Programme 2023

PSM UMPSA has held a webinar on resume writing and interview tips on 19 August 2023. This webinar was attended by third-year students from the Bachelor of Applied Science in Data Analytics with Honors (BSD) programme who are currently at the industry for Work-Based Learning and industrial training placements. Two alumni from the BSD programme were invited as speakers for this workshop. The first speaker, Encik Mohamad Rai'zuddin Farhan Arshad, is NGP Executive, Group Business Intelligence at Talent Corporation Malaysia Berhad, presenting a topic on How to Make Your Resume Stand Out. While the second speaker, Mr. Muhammad Nadzmi Md Azam, who works as a Technology Consultant at EY Technology Solution, delivered the topic How to Excel in an Interview, and The Dos and Don'ts During An Interview.
The purpose of this workshop is to provide exposure to students regarding effective resume writing procedures and also tips by the senior on how to be more successful in job interview sessions at the industry. In addition, the program is hopeful to build a close relationship between the alumni and the university. In addition, with the implementation of a workshop like this, it can help the students to prepare themselves before stepping into the world of work in the future.
