PSM UMPSA would like to congratulate Assoc Prof Dr Noryanti Muhammad on the appointment as Director, Data Management & Analytics Centre (DMAC), UMPSA, UMPSA from 1 Jan 2024 to 31 Dis 2025. Centre for Mathematical Sciences (CSM), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah held a Data Analytics Industrial Talk on 19th January 2024 entitled “Development of Malaysia AI: Generative AI, Nous & Malaysia Large Language Model (MaLLaM)”. This virtual discourse invited Mr. Ahmad Khalil bin Mohamad Nooh, co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Mesolitica Sdn Bhd.

Monthly Mathematical Colloquium (MMC) 1/2024

On the 26th of January 2024, PSM UMPSA achieved another successful milestone by organizing the first Monthly Mathematical Colloquium (MMC) of the year. This gathering served as a platform for intellectual exchange and featured a knowledge-sharing session by two PhD students. An interactive Questions and Answers (Q&A) session ensued after the presentation. The audience displayed enthusiastic participation, actively engaging with the speakers. They offered constructive suggestions and comments, contributing to a dynamic exchange of ideas.

Data Science Project I (BSD3722) Sem 1, 2023/24 Presentation Day

On 22nd – 23rd January 2024, there are 50 students from the programme of Bachelor of Applied Science in Data Analytics with Honours who have been successfully presented their Data Science Project I. All the presented projects are data-driven research projects and involve Data Science and Analytics cycle or skills. 41 of 50 students are the Work Based Learning (WBL) students and their projects are solving the currently real-world issues addressed by several industries.
